I actually stopped using Myspace because I kept on being blasted. Thank you so much!

does this not block adobe flash players?

I love your script... I do have a small request though.

Any chance you could make the notification more prominent?

IE: kinda like the "MySapce URL" box.

Very useful script, and works perfect. Love the music/video toggle.

I've fixed the script again: version 1.4 should work perfectly. If you still have problems, let me know. You can email me at my first name at luminos.nl.

Thanks Eric :) I'm glad its something you are encountering also, looking forward to a fix, if you need any info on my system setup etc for bug testing, lemme know.

Don't worry pupil, you're not doing anything wrong. Strangely on my laptop I find the same thing happening so I'll look into fixing it this week. What strikes me as odd is that the function is pretty simple and that it works on my home PC perfectly. Odd. (To others reading this: the script blocks music and other media fine. enabling blocked music just doesn't work for some people with version 1.3)

Hi Eric Lammertsma. It has never worked for me, I just tried it again now, disabled all my other greasemonkey scripts, adblock plus, reinstalling/redownloading the script, everything, but the text still just changes to enable/disable when I click it, but no player?! I've no idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the feedback folks!

pupil, last week I had the same problem and I planned on looking into it but just now it was working perfectly for me again. The code itself isn't that complex so my guess is that something at MySpace changed last week. Let me know if you still have the same problem or if it works for you too now.

This is what I've been waiting for...now I can enjoy my music instead of having to suffer through what myspace users consider "music" Thanks so much for this script!

I dunno what I am doing different, but the toggle enable/disable text doesn't do anything, it just keeps things blocked. The text changes, but it doesn't bring the player back when I want it? It's not any of my other extensions/scripts, I turned them all off to check?!

I can now stalk, uh, I mean browse, without awful music interupting my fun. Good work.

This is the best script that ever looked. Never again will I have to have my music interrupted as I desperately search for the tab in Firefox that is playing all that awful music!
