Also, I find that for some sites the thumbnail displayed seems to be of a cached (old) version of the site, whereas for others it displays a thumbnail of exactly what's there now. Like other posters, I can't see any pattern to decide which sites will display what's there now and which will display a cached version. It's annoying, though, because I downloaded this exactly in order to be able to hover over some sites that I consult frequently and see whether they have been updated without entering them; and one of the sites I visit frequently is exactly one of the ones where a cached version is displayed. Can anything be done about that? (I realise this is always done in free time!)

Thanks a lot -

It's a good start, but needs a lot of improvement. Like ilya said, it will show thumbnails beneath the viewport, so it should be changed to check the location and show a thumbnail up instead of down as needed. It also only works on about half of the sites in my list. I can't figure out why it won't generate thumbnails for the others -- they often do not have Flash in them or anything problematics that I can see. Appears pretty arbitrary at this point. I really hope this script gets updated, though, as it would really improve del.icio.us for me!

It's good, but have problems. It can't preview flash sites and loads all previews at startup and if the link is on the bottom of firefox preview shows out of screen on bottom, so you need to scroll the page to see the preview.
