A possible improvement, or separate script, would be to fix an annoying bug on printer-friendly article pages. When you open Firefox 2 in two or more windows, then open a printer-friendly article in one of them, the *other* window pops up in front of the one you're trying to read. This is easily fixed by deleting the javascript command in the BODY tag:
onload="window.top.blur();window.top.focus();"
(the "blur" part calls up another window). I also just emailed the Economist to ask them to fix this, but who knows if or when they will. In any case, this should be really easy, but I'm too ignorant of javascript to do it myself.
