I am an absolute non-techie guy. I have firefox as well as IE browser. Can someone guide me how to install this script so that i can block yahoo ads. Sorry for asking such a lame question. |

It used to work for a while but I had to update it to kill advert window.
Use this one instead (It works fine for French server : http://fr.mg40.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch) : Updated Yahoo Mail Cleaner by Sinsedrix |

v1percorp : could you better explain what problem you're experiencing? A couple screenshots would be helpful (script enabled and script disabled). Concerning the problem netster007x reported, I have no solution because Greasemonkey takes control too late in the loading of the page. Sorry. Thanks all of you for the kind words. |

When you have a look at the code you can think that it's a joke, but it ain't. That is too great, yahoo!

Unfortunately, the latest Y! mail beta release (v0.6.1 b651.14) has created a minor annoyance when using this script. The Yahoo! mail beta UI now loads initially with ads, then the script removes them. This causes a delay of a couple seconds to Y! mail beta start time. Please fix this annoyance if possible. Still the best Y! mail beta ad remover by far! |

Wow.. looking very cool... |
|

Works perfect!!! Thanks :) |

THANK YOU, this script is PERFECT! Disables every ad there is and gives the user the folder space on the right side. It doesn't block ads, it instead tricks Y! into thinking you're on a plus account, so they are never loaded in the first place, and the screen estate where the ads should be is fully usable. Pray that Yahoo! doesn't plug this loophole ;) |

This is fabulous, because it removes not only the right sidebar, but the ads above and below the folder pane. The script I was using before, Yahoo Mail Beta Ad Blocker http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/5257, only killed the sidebar. I love this. |

Perfect! No ads makes the Yahoo interface look so much nicer. |

wow, great bit of work. Superb ! what a difference. As i've said before, i've paid for my screen, I've paid for my bandwidth, and most important of all, i've actually paid yahoo for their mail (business) service. Only to find more and more blatant ads. f#(*ck them. |

Works beautifully. I don't usually maximize my browser (too many other windows to work in at the same time) and now I can use the folder view! Thanks! |

Though only works for Beta, but it's amazing. Even I would rate it 5 on 5 :-))

AMAZING!!!!

Kaley, this script works *only* with "Yahoo Mail beta", the new "AJAXified" interface. It doesn't work with the old interface. It removes ads on the right side and above and below the folder pane (on the left side, where your Inbox folder is). Also note that the script must be activated *before* you log into Yahoo Mail. |

This does nothing for me. |

Wow. Not only removes the ads but also the ad-box on the right-hand side. Nice job!! |
