until FF3 final is released, i won't use any other addon. And i really don't need a adblocker, 'cause i already have adblockplus and a couple good filter-lists. All what left was the popup, so i wrote this small script, no need to block ads etc.

Let me start by saying:
Thank you very much for having made this script (and your other similar pop-up removers). I am sure that it have saved many people (have for me) from some unwanted popups.

But now I have found a even better solution:

Via this site: http://userstyles.org/styles/160 , I found this site: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dom.popup_allowed_events , which led me to:
'Yes Popup' extension:
http://www.patheticcockroach.com/mpam4/index.ph...
http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.php?showt... = download latest version with FF3 support = 0.9.8
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/... = http://www.popuptest.com/goodpopups.html = some background info

It freaking works! Yihaa! :D
Now you don't need to rely on that there is a userscript available for your specific site, fx. Megaupload: http://userstyles.org/styles/160

Cheers

Would be nice if you would add that info to the description of your '* popup remover' scripts
Cheers

Possible yes, see my other Popup-Remover Scripts.

And what happened to your close button?

My script was tested on Firefox 2.0.0.x

Don't know how much you made my life better. :P My Opera doesn't show the "close"-button. -.-
It is possible to use this script for other pages with these popups?

It does :)

Use together with Adblock Plus to block banners, layer-popups etc.
