I love this script!! It made hotmail so clean and havin' larger space for viewing mails.

Very nice, I use this alot!

Would it be possible to write a script like this for the new Myspace pages?
To be able to collapse away the top advertising bar (currently I just have a large blue area - thanks adblock plus) would be great, like what this script does for hotmail! Just a suggestion...

Thanks!

Hey, I still like your script though !

@mp3dewd: I actually use the Adblock Plus extension to block ads, this script was meant as a quick and simple way to reclaim the space on top of the screen in Hotmail.

Thank you for linking to the full-featured script which is what a lot of people will be after.

I happened to find another script that seems to do the same thing as yours, plus a little more.

Forget my comment about the Right Hand Side Ad, as now I realize that that is not meant to be removed.

I love the idea of having this feature to remove the anoying ad's.
The only thing is it's not working properly. It still seems to show the Header Ad and the Right Hand Side Ad...

Any ideas?

Removes the whole section containing the banner on top of the page. Saves quite a bit of space, especially useful with smaller widescreen monitors.
