That's the intended behaviour which you're describing. I guess the name `Skip Redirect' is a bit misleading. You can better think of `Control Redirect'.

You can easily get the behaviour you want by editing the source of the script. Remove the `metaRefresh()' function and meta refreshes will work everywhere.

Personally I don't like automatic redirects, I rather want to click my way through the web.

Another site is DivShare. Skip Redirect causes a download link not to redirect to the download page:

Then it causes the download not to automatically start:

Well at FileForum/BetaNews, Skip Redirect prevents the download from automatically starting. You have to click one of the links:

And at forums like Mozillazine, Skip Redirect prevents the page from going back to the topic after replying:

What exactly needs fixing? For me everything works fine!?

This script needs to be fixed to allow FileForum/BetaNews. Also forums such the MozillaZine Forums use redirects.
