Same problem as the two posters before me. I runfirefox on a mac though. Version 2.001 as the time of writing.
Hope there's a fix. Thanks in advance!

having the same problem as fb. says script is installed, even a space next to link for play button, but no button. i miss using this great script very much. help please!

I've used this since I came upon it and love it.
Downloaded the latest firefox though and while it says this script is installed, the button does not show up anymore.

Please please,tell me this is fixable?!!

This is great but it apparently doesn't correctly deduce the sample rate of files that aren't 44.1khz, or maybe it's the bit rate... whatever the case it plays some files at the wrong speed. for example, the mp3 on this page:

This userscript is good. Due to a request from my friend, I've made a version using the "slim" version of the player, which has play/pause/stop/volume controls and a loading meter. It's called "Inline Mp3 Player with Controls." I still like this one better, though.
