I have a solution although it is not by adding spaces in between lines, but instead by changing the way the font size is selected.

Go to the GreaseMonkey options, select this script and then choose edit.

In the script, look for node.style.fontSize="2em"
and replace it with a pixel setting.

For example, I use
node.style.fontSize="14px" and it displays pretty well.

I haven't tried it out with larger fonts, but it does the trick for me.

the names seem to be almost colliding into each other- theres 4 birthdays on my homepage and although the names are nicely large - they seem to be merging into one another.

possibly add spaces between the names? :)
