I got it, it's not working with Firefox 3 beta 5, but fine with beta 3. |

Hi all, I just installed this and having the same issue described below. Once I login to Gmail it just hangs, I thought it was because of so many subscriptions on reader but after 10 minutes or so i just says "loading..." It worked once w/o any flaws, but the second time I tried it that is when I started having issues. I have disabled it for the time being, any suggestions? FF: 2.0.0.14 Thanks. |

@k0shyX I'm using it in Firefox 3.0b3 as I type this. It's been working in Firefox 3.0 betas since January (v3.4). What version of this script are you running?
this script doesn't seem to work for firefox beta 3, can this be fixed somehow? |
@jesses Scratch that. Apparently I didn't pay enough attention to the Preferences section of Gmail Addons. |
@jesses Just a suggestion. I also use a script called Gmail Addons that allows Chat and Calendar to show up in my Gmail as well. Would it be possible to integrate Calendar into this script into a collapsible panel like Reader is now? Matt |
@jesses Nope, you're right. It must have been something intermittent on Gmail's end. Good job man :). I'm sure I'll use this quite often. |
I see the loading.. message screen for about 3 or 4 seconds now but then Gmail loads and the Reader integration script does it's thing. Disabling this script does seem to make Gmail load faster, but I'm not seeing the total block that you describe. I think Reader Integration was disabled in the most recent update to Better Gmail2. |
@jesses It halts at the "Loading..." screen even if I disable Better Gmail 2. I have the script installed directly via Greasemonkey running along side Better Gmail 2 since I can't seem to figure out how to activate the Google Reader integration inside Better Gmail 2. For the purpose of your question, however, I deactivated Better Gmail 2. |
@sbw07 and @Matt Baker Does this only occur with the Better Gmail extension or does it also happen with when using the script directly with Greasemonkey? |
I'm with 'sbw07', it just sits at the loading screen after updating the title bar to say Gmail Reader (129). Firefox - v2.0.0.12
The screen remains blank, besides for "Loading..." inthe upper left corner. The tab and title bar read "Gmail - Reader(45)" Lifehacker already updated their Better GMail extension to remove Reader integration. |
@sbw07 Can you be more specific about "can't access my inbox"? What do you see on the screen?
I am using the version of this script that's included in Better GMail2 0.3.2 It was working fine until an hour or two ago. Now as long a I check the Reader integration option I can't access my inbox. Disabling Reader Integration lets me in to the inbox. |
Never mind. It works now. |
What I mean is, it doesn't even show up. |
It doesn't work for me either, and I do get an error message. It says something like this: Warning: reference to undefined property this.r0.Tca

@EvylRat As per the description, this script is intended to works with the new Gmail interface that was rolled out to most people in November 2007. There are 2 or 3 previous versions that worked with the old Gmail interface. |
This script does not work for those using UK version of Gmail. Only the NEW Gmail version (eg US) works with this script. |

@jesses - that's exactly what I'm hoping for... calling all GM developers, help. haha. |
