Works everywhere except Gmail for me. I have all my various Gmail accounts forward to my main one, though, so I rarely log out of it. |

why 'Favorite this script' not done? |
|
|
This is really awesome.

This is one of my very favorites. I've had to re-install it when getting my new computer and was a bit concerned about it operating with Vista OS but it works like a charm. Reloading the page always gets it enabled wiithout a hitch.

dm47: I'm not having that problem. |

this doesn't work for one of my accounts that has a "." (period) in it. is there any simple way you could fix this, or...maybe I'm the only one having this problem? nice script tho xD. |

hans212: It would be much more difficult for me to rewrite my entire script than it would be for you to change one password. |

I tryed it and it works, with one of my accounts. But the other one has a "," (Komma) inside the password and the script does not accept it. so i wont change the password, can u please fix that? |

Unfortunately, this script hasn't worked well for me, since I use an application launcher (RocketDock) to access Gmail. For some reason, the only way I can get the script to run in Gmail is if I switch accounts manually, or log off and then log back on manually. I tried the cookieswap extension mentioned below, but the addon hasn't seemed to work since FF 3.0.1. Now I'm using Gmail Manager, which has much the same functionality as this script and the cookieswap addon for Gmail, plus it has email notification if this is useful to you (I have it disabled, since I use a widget from Yahoo on my desktop for this). It's a little tricky to setup, but I find it works quite well as a supplement to this script for Gmail. |

Arie84: This one is the original. The other is someone trying to pass off my hard work as their own. It could even be malicious. For your own safety, please don't install it. |

There are two "Google Account Multi-Login" scripts on UserScripts.org: www.userscripts.org/scripts/show/16341 (this one) and www.userscripts.org/scripts/show/30491 . Which one is the best? |

sometimes it works and sometimes not. I use firefox 3.0.1, greasemonkey 0.8.20080609.0, and better gmail 2 0.6. and when I type the password, it would be much better if you convert the characters with asterisk characters. thank you. |
|
|
Note: to quickly switch google accounts, there's also cookieswap, a firefox extension that can switch cookies.

For me, this script doesn't work when I first load Gmail (when I'm automatically signed in). It only works if I open Gmail, sign-out, then sign-in again. |

I find it works about half the time, and half the time not. I thought it was because one of the three accounts I use is in Portuguese, but with all of them set to US English the problem is the same. When it is working it rocks! |

pukha lenee-bluhm: This is an issue with the Greasemonkey API and Firefox 3. I had a workaround for it, but a GMail code update caused it to stop functioning. I have made an attempt to contact Google about it, but whether they will reply or rectify the issue is anyone's guess. |

Awesome. |

The Google Apps functionality is still quirky, but the API-related problem is indeed fixed (and it was the more important of the two problems). Thanks. |
|
|
That's weird! Today it functions with no problems.

El_Farah, did you happen to note if any Javascript errors were showing up when the dropdown doesn't appear? |
|
|
Thank you very much for your script and time you're spending on it. We're grateful.

No problem. |

Hmm this update looks what I was looking for, thanks! |
