good script, but change the first line from:

if ((document.referrer.indexOf("http://www.digg.com") == 0) || (document.referrer.indexOf("http://digg.com") == 0)) == true) {

to:

if(/http:\/\/(www.)?digg.com/.test(document.referrer)) {

it's shorter, faster, and reads better :P

I think a good addition to this script would be if you added the "Digg Me Later" bar to the image pages of digg. When I click on an image link, sometimes it opens in a new tab and I can't go back to digg it if I like the image.

It would be great if there was the option of Digging websites that are already linked through digg that we discovered by other means. Say if I get to a site from Google and i has already been submitted.

That and I would love to be able to comment at digg right on the actual site!

Nice work BTW

Does anyone know how to change the style of the digg-specific stuff? I'm customizing this script, but I can't read the digg-count on the background I want to use. Specifically, I want to change the color of the XXXX diggs to the same light-green color from the digg website (#ccddb0).

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/15398 for the script.

Would be nice if this worked from the digg gadgets on google.com/ig

Would be awesome if you could add that to the works :p

Nice gadget otherwise - many thanks...

Add

if (location.hostname.indexOf("duggmirror.com") > -1)
  u = location.href.replace(/duggmirror\.com/, "digg.com");

after var u = window.location.href; so that it works on duggmirror.com.

heres the link to the silver one @ Martin Jessen

dujoducom, yeah my styles of your project really don't look so great with the classic theme.

can you recommend any good base64 encoders?

thanks, keep up the good work : )

Links from digg comments also include the digg bar... and have 0 current diggs because they don't have a corresponding digg article obviously. Please do someting about this

can you post an updated link to that grey digg-bar, please?

Can't wait for mirrors. :) Other than that, it's perfect.

jordidg Scriptwright

Perhaps you can also include the various bury-options?

Yeah, pngs are better than gifs for some applications, but with gifs you get a smaller file size for really simple stuff. One thing I want to make sure of is that this script is very light weight, there are a lot of GM scripts out there that would be useful if they weren't so damn slow.

Nice style, I'm more of a traditionalist as I still use the "windows classic" theme, but it looks like it fits with vista. You might want to consider trying to encode your images as base64 so they don't have to hit your server for the script you posted.

am looking forward to any future updates to this.
i've been playing around with different type of styles to this.

"I've made the images transparent .gifs so you just need the hex color code."
you should give transparent .png files a go. they are much better than .gif images :)

heres a style i been playing around with.

Oh yeah, and for version 2 you will be able to change the background color without having the green behind the digg button. I've made the images transparent .gifs so you just need the hex color code. even though I think most people will be disappointed when they make it digg blue, digg green is easier on the eyes and less distracting as a top bar I found. Then again I also use windows classic mode with the "rainy day" theme, so it might look like crap with the typical beige color.

I'm working on getting mirrors to work, I'm not sure when I'll have that ready but hopefully soon!

Daniel: I don't believe the one I found was yours. It had the digg thing floating in the upper right. Unless you changed that, then I think it was a different one.

Nice work. It's clean and simple.
You encouraged me to dig up my script and make it work with the new version of digg.com.
Which script was the one you saw before? My old "digg article review" or the newer Add Digg Control (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7883)?

Charlie Hayes Scriptwright

you should add links to dugg mirror, google cache, corelcache etc.

Brajeshwar User

This is a useful tool. I am installing it and thanks for the script.

Very nice, and useful. keep up the good work

although the color scheme isn't so much to my liking
but a fast edit fixes that.

if you would like to see my edit of it take a look

tell me what yah think
