Problem solved. I realized it was a Greasemonkey problem and followed the troubleshooting tips for that. |

I can't get the script to install. I get the following error message every time: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)[nslChannel.open] ...etc. etc....
I have installed Greasemonkey 0.6.4 and have Firefox 1.5.0.1 on a Mac running OS 10.4+ Advice appreciated. |

After receiving some feedback, I have updated the script to display the YQ actuator button a several pixels away from the mouse pointer after selecting text. This is to prevent clicking on the YQ actuator button by mistake. |

For the script to work perfectly on non-Yahoo sites, please make sure that the Firefox option: "Force links that open new windows to open in" is unchecked. If checked, results open in a new tab in the overlay itself. For those who want to keep this option checked, I have updated the script to open a resizable overlay, so that you can maximize the overlay to view the result page. |

Jayanth, thanks for lightning-fast reaction! Y!Q script now works on cyrillic sites. That was me who complained on Yahoo! Search blog about charset brokenness. Thank you for finding time to "ping" me on my blog :) |

Updated the script to search on sites with double byte characters. Pass the right browser encoding value (UTF-8) |

Thanks for trying out the YQ script. I have updated the script for FF 1.5 support. |

Pretty neat, saw it on the ysearch blog. Tried similar functionality in IE, Messenger and Desktop, but was disappointed it wasnt availble in FF, quite happy now. |
