I had to edit this to get it to work; I think YouTube changed something. Line 22 is: document.getElementById('playerDiv').appendChild(link);

The div changed to watch-player-div.

Well... since folks are spamming their favorite retail options, here is a FREE option:

1-Click YouTube Batch Downloader! @ Eurekr.com

It's an IE shell GUI that takes a given playlist and saves the videos into sorted files by the video format of your choice.

Sometimes it seems to run a little clunky, but I recommend it for easy of automation.

Another great way to download vidoes is getting into the usenet. Just find a Usenet Provider and start downloading at full speed.

It seems that the google video cache url has been sightly changed from the one in your script (http://cache.googlevideo.com/get_video?v=) to :
http://cache.googlevideo.com/get_video?video_id=

Excellent! I don't need my videodownloader firefox extension anymore. I only used it for youtube anyway so this script is great

the flv file I got was a Negachin "Big Superhero Wish" card - not the you tube video - twice
