you can send SMS from your gmail very easily by adding your contact as mobilenumber@sms.messagingbay.com. Example, if you want to send SMS to +12345678, you need to add contact as 12345678@sms.messagingbay.com. It is a SMS/IM gateway. MOre info: |

I asked Callwave about it, and they told me that they've blocked the script somehow (copied at bottom of this comment). What other services are there? =================

I can sent sms' directly from callwave, so this script is now broken. I looked in the javascript console and it said this : http://blog.grundprinzip.de/projekte/GMail and Callwave: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><response><responsecode>GENERAL_ERROR</responsecode><responsetext>Please upgrade your gadget at www.callwave.com/sms</responsetext></response> So it looks like callwave changed their api or something and the developer of this greasemonkey script needs to update it. |

Fucking hate it when people post something as a top 10 script, and it doesn't even work. Sheesh. |

I get the exact same problem as Sjeem |

Script looks great but some of my settings must be wrong. The first message I get is: "Your settings are not complete, verify them." Then I click ok, the second message is: "Not able to send sms, check java console." Any tips? |
