I've recently written a similar script that does more automation: Spamcop - Reporting helper/automator. Since it automatically visits any report page from any page that links to one, it does NOT auto-submit the report by default (you have to change a variable to true for that). To address ahoier's question - my script will check the "public report addresses" box upon loading the page (before submitting automatically, if you've enabled that). Learn more at the above link. No idea if this script still works or not, but I'm just curious; If I have "public report addresses" enabled (for example, spam@uce.gov, knujon@coldrain.net, spam@sendusspam.com, etc...) - when this script is used, will it also submit the spam reports to those "public report" addresses as well...? Just curious, since I switched to "quick" reporting today and was kind of "bummed out" - to find that the quick reports will not send reports to the "public addresses" I've set up. |
