Huh strange...mine home is updating fine. give me time to get this working on walls. that would be easier to test.

yep i'm on the new facebook, http://www.new.facebook.com/home.php and similar, and the script is shown as being active when I right-click the greasemonkey icon... just nothing is being updated :s

Are you using the new facebook? It only works for that. What does your url look like?

i don't know whether the fact i'm in the UK could have anything to do with it?

Update
Now works with the new Facebook only. This is a major fix. Not all parts are working yet, but at least its partly running now.

oh i see
i still use online friends because it allows you to have a list of who's online without being signed in to chat, so if this function is already written and it's not much trouble, i would definitely appreciate it! :)

No actually its a javascript system to prevent the reloading of the chat client. The page no longer reloads the conventional way when you click on a link. I think it uses XHR requests to replace the page content. I need to adapt this script to be able to read the hash. I should have a fix up and running soon. I made the online friends integration in secret awhile back but its no longer needed since the chat client provides that list.

the crazy stuff might have something to do with all the upcoming profile changes (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Facebook-Profiles...)
also, would it be possible to integrate this script with the "online friends" script in order to auto-update the online friends list?

Facebook recently went all crazy with their urls. I seriously don't know what the fuck is up. This script is broken until I figure out what is going on.

Okay. I made a quick update of the script and now everything seems to work. It doesn't conflict with the chat feature.

Just finished testing with the new chat feature and it doesn't work anymore. I'm going to do a major rewrite soon anyway. Don't bother installing this script until I update it to beta.
