OK, I will continue to maintain this script, but it might be a slow and lazy work...

ucnv I really have found this script useful. I installed it in July and have had exponential increases in the speed of my feeds. Please continue to update this script, I really would appreciate your hard work.

I know that this is not working anymore. And I might give up to maintain this script...

Can you think of any easy way to generalize your solution to a different bit of GReader code? I want to override a function or regex substitute out the "2000" entries magic number with Gears Offline mode in a certain function, details at http://userscripts.org/forums/1/topics/7309

I keep trying every revision of your script but I can't seem to notice any difference what-so-ever after enabling it. Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong but no more entries are loaded than without it :/.

EDIT: Oh never mind, I usually figure stuff out immediately after mentioning something / asking for help. Would it be possible to enable this for "List view" also? I never use expanded view, and I do hate the loading scrollbar, heh.

Looks good, thanks.

Thanks for this script.
Can you add the secure (https) link ?
I had to manually add it at every update.
TIA

Thanks anemos and Thadk!
I uploaded the provisional version. I'm reading the obfuscated code on the way.

We need a way to search for functions in the obfuscated javascript and then execthe appropriate one for our Google Reader greasemonkey scripts so they don't have to be updated all the time whenever GR team makes a new "release" and reenumerates their functions :| any solutions?

This was a problem I was having when I wanted to extend the number of elements that go offline (2000) when you use Google Gears too. It is easy to change but very hard to persist. It was also a problem with the GR preview enhanced where the author tried to call a function to jump to the top of an entry.

This seems like a great idea and all, i would love the feature.
However it seems at least the command changed to T.prototype.AA=function(){return this.Xa()==wr.ob?(!this.Ha?5:1):20};
Although, even whit this and a few minutes of testing, I could not get this to work in my greasemonkey, keeps telling me:

T.prototype is undefined

I'm starting to get pretty annoyed that google has to obfuscate it's javascript for google reader, really takes any power we users have away from us because it's bound to change at times.

Btw, cheers to you ucnv for finding this in the first place, I'd really be interested in knowing how you figured out which function it was.
Cheers.
