Bug with editing the first post, when you do so, it announces the post if your a mod.

Well I wasn't even sure that it would work with the admin/mod version of edit and I've not had any way to test it as I've not got admin rights on any forums. I'll try and install one at some point and see what I can do with it as its probably only a small bug.

Either my below comment didn't post correctly or I somehow goofed. At any rate: if logged in as admin: edited first post of a thread using Quick Edit changes thread to "announcement" status. If logged in as *moderator* threads are changed to "sticky."

There appears to be a bug with this script if it is used by a board moderator or admin.

I am an administrator on a message board. If Quick Edit is used to edit the first message in a thread, the "status" of the thread is changed.

If logged in as an admin, threads where the first post is edited using Quick Edit are changed to "sticky."

If used on any post in the thread--other than the first post--it appears to work beautifully.
