@nemesis: The script still works.

@miwix: That site is awful. It is pretty bad when the flash ads on the site actually bog down my comp to the point where it is not usable. Even just using the frame with the form sucks because the end url is calculated with javascript despite using php for the site.

In General: The host that Andrew B was using has shut down recently so his site is no longer available. I messed around with making a similar site using Django and I would be willing to put it up if anyone would want it. The algorithm used to build the urls is the same that is used in my YouTubed-2x program.

Just in case you are having problems downloading the actual .flv video once you know the url:

? Make sure you DO NOT use a download accelerator. The redtube servers ban IPs that make multiple requests, so DO NOT use an accelerator :p

? Make sure the final URL is in this format;
http://dl.redtube.com/_videos_t4vn23s9jc5498tgj...

? Try to download it using your web browser. If that doesn't work (it gives you a "404 Not Found" or "403 Forbidden" error) try downloading the file with wget.
Linux users like me will undoubtedly be familiar with wget, but if you are use windows you can use the windows version:
http://users.ugent.be/~bpuype/wget/wget.exe
(just copy it to the windows system32 folder, then open a command prompt and type "wget [url]". It will save the file to wherever you open the command prompt at)
? Once you have downloaded the .flv file, you need a good media player to open it. Most common players don't support flash video (.flv) so you should download and install the VLC (VideoLAN Client) media player:

Please explain in more detail what you are having a problem with.

Neither this script nor Andrew Bever's appear to work. Both of them result in a 403 error.

ok so the file downloads just as planned problem being the file is an FLV, now ive been chasing round for codecs decoders players and all that jazz but still cant get the file openededed?

Guys, I am real newbie... I have installed greasemonkey, installed the script, but don't know what to do further about downloading. I have video downloader installed but that doesn't help either.
Please help.
