@Ali
First thanks for this!
I have checked the code and saw ur hiding all apps div element using display:none.
Its good aesthetically... :-)
But no good to improve speed... :-(
Actually entire page gets loaded by current approach. I have a suggestion..
Can u use x.parentNode.removeChild(x) or something similar to remove all div element.
That will speed up the things!

This script does the job. It also hides the applications' entries in the mini-feed and icon list.

It's coming in version 2. It's 99% working on my pc, but that 1% bothers me enough that I haven't released it yet.

the one thing I would reccomend is a way to "allow" certain facebook apps. the concept of apps doesn't bother me, just the really redundant and dumb ones.

why would you want to remove the minifeed? I wrote a script that basically the same as this but it leaves the minifeed, and removes those annoying app icons under the picture. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/11992

Nevermind, got it. It was pretty self explanatory. I just removed the slashes before the code to keep it.

Love the script, but could you maybe make a version that doesn't hide the news feed? I'm going to try to find it and edit out the code that hides the news feed, but any help is appreciated.
