How would one go about adding a random delay timer, say, waiting 4-6 seconds before and after clicking "Go!"?
I think this would help the script be less noticeable.
Also, choosing the right starting ID seems to be of great importance as well - too many non-existent puppies, and you're bound to draw some attention.
The script should also have a limiter, say a value between 350 and 650 puppies, that's also a good way to avoid being too suspicious...

I actually made a petting script using CoScripter, but it is far less powerful than a javascript bot is...

Any chance of taking into considerations the amendments I suggested?

Thanks :)

Maybe I should edit what I posted... but I'll just create a new comment. After a while. which apparently is at random, facebook will say that its time to verify you are the one clicking on the pups. In which case this is the point where you have to enter the text of 2 words in the captcha box. So far I've seen it as little as after 40 points awarded, and as much as 2000 points. So apparently this is random. If you haven't found the code word yet, the last 3 letters are num :)

Script still works. Simply change value of 'fussitem' to ... well I'll let you find it for yourself.. but its 'fusst------" (6 more letters). If you use firefox, just view the source of the page, and scroll down till you find it. update the value in the script. After about 10 pets, it goes to a captcha screen, so make sure you stop the script to enter the captcha, so it will continue. It will continue for about a half an hour before you have to do a captcha again.

Why not create a script with iMacros?

the developers system does NOT flag when you view non existing pups. if you think that is it ur gonna get banned, tho ur gonna get banned either way. this system is now able to track anyone using this script bc it detects the way that you are clicking (or in the case of the bot: not clicking) the "go" and the way the pages refresh. anyone using this script is going to get caught and banned from petting, and you'll have all your badges and training taken away so it is definitely NOT worth it.

Can the script be reconfigured to use a list of PetIDs (i.e. IDs from lists on Pet Pupz forums) so that they're be lesser chances of the script getting a user banned? I think the Pupz developers' system automatically flags for those who 'attempt' to 'pet' or view non-existing puppies.

Try to download the script again, because it works for me.

The script IS working, BUT you don't gain any points... i had 600+ clicks today and none of the points registered...

sctr User

yeah it isn't working now... :( so sad. it just reloads every page. doesnt press go and gain any points...

Yes I've thought about to look on the visited link, but i can go like that to an infinite loop, or to get a puppy that no one stroked him in the last 24HRS.

Hi Ofer!
What are we going to do now that Pet Puz are incorporating the Facebook ID as well as the Puppy ID in the URL?

Is this the end of the script or can you think of a workaround?

Hows about visiting somebody's Puppy, then look at the list of recent petters and follow those links?

Grandude User

Brilliant working again ^_^

Well Done you!

Ofer Script's Author

Now it should work.
Thank for the information,
Keep write here if it works or not...
& I will update asap

Grandude User

Still no joy im afraid...

Updated again...

As this was probably said earlier in this thread, this script still doesn't auto-click. It will get you another link automatically, but you have to click "Go!" yourself in order to get the points

Updated.
Thanks for the information, wasn't here for awhile...

Sad story but by cheating the system you had to realize that one day it might come back to bite you in the ass. Either way I'm glad Matt has given many second chances.

I've now been banned :-(

Perhaps earning 400,000 points was a clue? LOL

At least I've kept my charity badges. I gave about 600 lucky puppies a juicy steak using my modifications that I explained below.

l2p Scriptwright

I see the issue but will not explain how to fix it. It is now proven that running this script will only get you banned from using the application.

pro tip: Matt (The dev) is cracking down on people taking advantage of the system by running such scripts and will only continue to ban people. Don't say you haven't been warned.

Changed fuss to dofuss, and it I still have to click Go on active unpetted dogs.

facebookin User

well they just changed it again. i think its back to how it is on here.

uhhh so i just got banned from petting and viewing cuz of botting....lol guess they have a trace now.
"Scripts and Bots are not allowed on Pet Pupz

You have been banned from petting and viewing other puppies. If you believe this is in error or believe you have mitigating circumstances, please email petpupz@googlemail.com "

know anyway around it?

l2p Scriptwright

The rest of the code was fine. It looks like either a poor attempt by the dev's to shut some of the botting down or just a change system side in preparation for the upcoming releases they have.

facebookin User

was there anything else wrong with the code. I dont know much about them that just looked like the only thing changed.
