Another update! Now it detects the reset password page and doesn't attempt to login there.

NEW RELEASEAddition: many new @include URLs. The script is now active on the Facebook homepage and on HTTPS pages.

Addition: Experimental support for detecting failed logins. This is still experimental because I am unable to test it; apparently there's a limit to the number of failed login attempts Facebook will permit before you have to reset your password, and resetting your password doesn't reset the attempt counter.

Yeah. Never underestimate the power of NIH syndrome. In my defense, I tried an auto-login script before I wrote this one, but it didn't work.

Wow at first I thought this was a rip-off of my Facebook Autologin script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/4044) but nope, it's just different code to do the same thing. :)

Update:
Sorry, it works again, I uninstalled the script, reinstalled it, and it's working fine. Thanks much!

Is anyone else having trouble with this today?
As of this morning, this script simply doesn't work.
Facebook has apparently doing maintenance or upgrades - for the last day or so there have been periods where certain parts of the site aren't available. Have they perhaps changed something about the login? Love this script, by the way.

I suggest that you disable Greasemonkey and try logging in normally. Only re-enable Greasemonkey (and this script) once you are able to log in--this script does not detect when a login fails, which can trigger an endless loop if Firefox is set to remember bad login info.

Hi. I registered for an account with facebook, using my gmail account. I used firefox to remember the username and password. They were in the box and ready to use. I clicked on login. A message came up (several times) that the username or password was mistaken, to check the caplock key as it was case sensitive. Any suggestions? Thank you.
