Thank you very much for this wonderful script! This is a pretty complex layout problem to solve well, but you've made it perfectly. Respect! |
yeah. the script uses Gmail's API. for some reason, it has recently not always been accessible, and i haven't been able to figure out why at this point. it's pretty much totally random. when i figure it out, though, you will all be informed immediately :) |

I have problems every once in a while but if I reload it starts working again. Not sure if this is normal or if there is intermittent code in different sessions. |
Is anyone else experiencing problems? |

@Boe Darnez It wasn't working for me this morning as a result of the new FireBug release. I had to go back and disable firebug for the Gmail site again. That did it for me. Maybe it's conflicting with some other extensions or scripts that you have? |
Now it's not working at all. Anyone else having trouble? |
Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't. Even when I reload gmail, it can sometimes not work. Can't figure out what determines if it does or not. Any helpful hints? |

Thanks for fixing this :-) |

Hello jtulloch !
@Mikkel i dunno man. .. the classic programming answer: "it's working on my machine".

Thank you! Been looking for at working script for some time now... UPDATE: Hmm, when I restarted my browser the script wasn't working.. I don't even see the thread options... |
okay, so the thing with the ads shifting with the links was just a result of Gmail's layout changing slightly. .. that's fixed now.

Not running firebug, but I am seeing the same wonkiness (adds in - and spilling out of - the thread box). Running FF3, GM 0.8.2, & a few FF2 extensions made compatible via MRTech Toolkit. Also have a couple of the experimental GMail features enabled. I'll try disabling those and post again if it makes any difference. |

Awesome addon, the latest version of the 'Google apps for your domain' Gmail version somehow displays the ads inside the 'thread toolbox' menu in the left column though; non-essential nonetheless. |
Yeaaa...
yeah, it seems to be moody at the moment. i'm really not sure what's causing it. I'll keep working on it, though. |

Hello jtulloch, Same problem there !
I only had one of you scripts installed, so there we no duplicates. Would there be any reason why sometimes the script would work and other times the sidebar would be there?? |
yeah. it's because you have the script installed twice. go into your ManageUserScripts dialog and get rid of the script called 'Gmail and Google Apps sBar remover'. (it was my fault. i accidentally changed the name and you must have downloaded before i fixed it) you may need to re-install the actual script after that.

It's working with Firefox 3, but it's creating a "Thread Toolbox" for the ads as well and each time I open a mail message the Thread Toolboxes keep stacking up and never leave until gmail is refreshed. Any help thoughts?? Thanks! |

Fixed FF3 problems. Should work for everybody now. Let me know if you have any other problems. |
looking into it right now. i'll try and have a fixed version as soon as possible. |

Hi, I'am using FF 3 final version, and this script removes ads from right side of screen but doesn't move thread links to the left. |
Hello, I'm using Firefox 3 rc3 and Greasemonkey 0.8.20080609.0.
Can you take a look ?
