When you're logged in to geocaching.com there's a "[view map]" link on each cache page which takes you to map view like this one: http://www.geocaching.com/map/getmap.aspx?lat=4... I don't find this map very useful, and always end up clicking the "View results in Google Maps" link to see the Google Maps version: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/gmnearest.aspx?l... This script makes the extra click unnecessary, so that the "[view map]" link takes you directly to the Google Maps map. If anyone can come up with a more succinct way to explain this I'd be happy to update the script summary. |
