to fix the userscript on the personalized home change the first line to this:

var el=(document.body.childNodes[0].firstChild && document.body.childNodes[0].firstChild.firstChild && document.body.childNodes[0].firstChild.firstChild.firstChild) ||(document.body.childNodes[1].firstChild.firstChild && document.body.childNodes[2].firstChild.firstChild.firstChild.firstChild.firstChild.firstChild.firstChild);

This is working on the Google "Classic Home" page but not on the personalized home page. Is there a way to make it work on the personalized page?

this is pretty slick..thank you! for a second there i thought it was going to open up a compose window addressed to me but it did what i was hoping it would...open gmail.

Okay, I see that a change in www.google.com broke this. It's fixed again.

But, if you find errors in scripts, leave a comment to inform the author. Sheesh!
