I have the same problem as Alan with the letter d. But when I go to another computer everything works fine. It's probably related to some extensions. I'll try to remove some.

Gmail has added a Delete button! Another poor lonely out-of-work greasemonkey script writer... :-)

RE: My Previous Comment...I subsequently went to the author's site at: http://smart-delete-button.blogspot.com/ and installed the most recent script there and now all is well!! Paul

This is my favourite script but it is not working with Fx 1.5. I have uninstalled the script and reinstalled the version last updated on Jan 7, 2006 to no avail. Any help?? Thank you.

This script isn't working with Firefox 1.5 and GM 0.6.4 ... What can be happening?

Okay, what am I doing wrong with (most) greasemonkey scripts since updating FF to 1.5 ? I've uninstalled the greasemonkey extension and cleaned up all traces of it as well as the scripts and directories. I currently have only (2) gm scripts installed, gmail-smart-delete and hide-spam-count, neither of which are working.

Ver. 0.6.0 was released on Dec 13. I just loaded it and it seems to be fixed. Thanks Paul!

Just loaded the updated script and was going to report that it worked fine with the old script, but not this one. THEN I read the previous comment that idicates that something changed in Gmail, and that it probably wasn't the script. I hope it can be fixed. I am lost without my Delete button! :-(

Downloaded/installed 12/9 and it worked OK. Now, 12/10, and no Delete button shows at all. Google make a change?

Script doesnt work anymore under GM 0.6.4 FF1.5. Used to be great. Would love a fix.

Don't work with greasemonkey 0.6.4 and firefox 1.5

When composing mail any time I type the letter d. I get a BUG warning cannot find button. Inform author.

Check the hompage of the author to get the version that works with FF 1.5 RC and GM 0.6.3

Very nice!

The problems were with FireFox 1.0.7, the latest GM (not sure on version), and 4.5 script.

I ended up down-grading to FireFox 1.0.6 and that fixed this problem and several others. It seems that FireFox 1.0.7 is buggy in itself and breaks alot of addons. The really odd part is FF 1.0.7 seems to work fine for some people.

Stephen: what version of GM, Firefox, and the script are you using?

This version works great when I'm viewing a message, but the button does not exist on the main page (even when I select messages). Any ideas?

Nice idea, but I found it slightly annoying that sometimes, it was greyed out when it should have been available.
