argh!!! I wanted to believe too much... the script caused major memory problems while loading pages. This happened typically after a Google search: when opening found pages in new tabs, as the words were being highlighted in those pages, Firefox RAM load might go up to 200 MB (out of 512). I didn't get the problem after disabling the script, so I really believe it was the cause of this strange behavior in FF. Dunno how to investigate the problem further...

good script! haven't found any site yet on which it didn't work or caused problems.
