hughes.net certainly has done something to on the page to break the script.

FWIW, it's broken on FF3 and Windows at work, too. |

Stopped working for me today, also. I love this tool and can't imagine my internet use again without it. I hope it gets rectified. I'd like to thank you also for the script, and hope to see it back up and working. |

Hmm. Script just stopped working for me. Has been working fine up until maybe two hours ago. Had my wife check on her box and hers stopped working too. I'm guessing hughes.net has done something to their usage page that breaks the script. Anyone else having problems? FF 3.03. Greasemonkey 0.8.20080609.0. Ubuntu Linux. Thanks for a great and useful script. It has saved us a lot of grief. |

Great script, have been using it since 10-2007.

For a while, I've been having problems with being faped, and this script saying I wasn't. Just now, I realized I had been faped. I was away from the computer for a few hours, then came back around 1:00 or 2:00. I had 90.9MB left, or so the script said. Then, at around 3:00, I became faped unexpectedly. The script said I had 63.3MB left. I then turned off the script, and realized I was 80MB over. This explains *a lot*. Sometimes, the script will tell me I am as much as 60-120% *over* fap, but will not be faped. However, sometimes, I go over by 1% and get faped. I believe Hughes has done sometime to kill this script. :\ |

After years of playing with meters etc., and being stuck with Hughes as our only choice for broadband , my son brought this script to my attention. It's great and very much appreciated!

Revision 6.
Revision 5 adds a link to the previous month's usage whenever necessary (ie. for carrying over usage data). |
Revision 4 adds a warning about the previous month's usage data needing to be recalculated after entering a new download threshold or recovery rate. |
Updated the script to revision 3. Now you can set the refill/recovery rate as well as the bucket size (download threshold). Also, the changes take effect immediately, no longer requiring you to reload the page. |
Updated the code to check for invalid data (due to a partially loaded page). |
BTW, during the FAP Free time, the column simply provides a running total for the day, since there is no download limit (AFAIK). |

This script modifies the HughesNet usage page to include a column indicating the remaining capacity in order to avoid triggering the FAP limit. The column is also color coded to further indicate usage that approaches the limit. The download threshold is modifiable and will take effect the next time the page is loaded. Furthermore, the script remembers the previous month's usage and carries the usage data into the next month. |
