Hey thanks so much for this script. I've been using it for ages, and it works great. My only problem is that when I visit a facebook page, I have to manually refresh in order for the greasemonkey script to kick in. This is a problem I have with all Greasemonkey scripts for Facebook (and only Facebook; my Gmail ones work fine). I have Firefox 3. Does anyone know why this happens for me? Is there some setting in Firefox I can use to fix it?

you can look out to update this script quite often for the next few weeks, because facebook's going to be carrying out another graphic overhaul across the site.
and I think it's going to suck, but eh.
anyway, I'd edit the script myself, but I'm really not too savvy, any updates would be awesome, thanks

what the crap?

amendment: it fails to work only on my homepage. on profile pages, it still works fine, but not my home page. which was the great thing about it, with the news feed ads that it blocked, and also all those stupid hovering things about networks that appear above the news feed.

this script stopped working today.
I love it, though. it could be a problem on my computer, which I doubt, but if it's still working, someone please tell me so.

This script is blocking the bottom footnote bar. The one that starts with Facebook © 2008 and has links the about facebook link etc.

Ok, finally found another one. They show up in the news feed and link to pages like this:

Or not, I won't mind seeing the social ads for a few weeks. Gives me a chance to delete some of those annoying "friends."
