Hi, I have asked this on the yousabletubefix page, but could you look over your script for me please? It's only a small bug, but your script breaks my stop autoplay option. I would be very greatful if you included the fix in your script or gave me some code I can manually add.

is this script dead...cause its been awhile.....i am just wondering |

@livedream:
In terms of the full screen...I haven't looked totally into it yet, but I'm pretty sure when you exit full screen it refreshes the page? But I will do some research into it -- for now the best I can say is to use a script like YousableTubeFix that allows you to expand the size of the video. |

I like this a lot - came across it when i posted in the forums looking for a script that does just this - good work. I would love it if this would work with Part nn indexing methods as mentioned below as this is far and above the most common type of indexing I come across and would be awesome.
Much appreciated :) |

Two most common alternative indexing methods I am aware of:
|
|
|
@bartus:
The quicklist. I can have it check it but unless the name is very short (~20 characters) its not going to be able to find what part each one of them goes as. In other words I would be unable to figure out where things are in this list unless I just assume that they go in that order. But you shouldn't even have to add it to the Quick List this way, you just load up the first video and the script handles everything for you. @Paladinchef:

X/Y is not as common method of indexing the multi-segment videos as it seems. 'Custom search pattern' to include different indexing technique would be great feature ... Regarding my previous post. I used to add all segments of the multi-part video to YouTube Quick List (those small 'plus' sign on the down/left corner of a thumbnail ;) witch has feature to play them one by one. Unfortunately it does not work with YousableTubeFix. I fought your script, witch is suppose to work with YousableTubeFix, could make use of this YT feature. Before looking for the wild card match check the QL for a next segments... |

ok i got it Fixed somewhat (Reinstalled the Script :P) But still just shows the Buffer Circle thing usually after the 2nd video (also i would really like to see the option of either loading HD or LD in background :X). Edit: well theres a reason for it as since i dont play all videos i watch in HD i do switch between HD and LD alot also for the reason i might be downloading a file etc. |
|
|
@Paladinchef: First of all thanks! I'd really prefer not to add something like that -- it'd make more sense for another script to do that. I can definitely try to make it compatible though -- I use YousableTubeFix to force H.264 and it seems to work OK.
When you say it doesn't load the next video, do you mean that it gets to the end and just stops like a normal video (and the related video links, etc. pop up in the video window) or does it do a continuous buffer at the end (has the little loading circle in the middle of it)? |

Great Script! Possible to add a option to load HD videos in the background, instead of there LD counterparts? The script i have does enforce HD, but it does not work right with your script. (Does not load next video in HD will not load/goto next at all if video playing before is in HD but when i put it in LD it loads/goto next fine) |

Script Update
I'd suggest trying to keep the number to buffer >3, if you're using a script to force high quality videos you may want to decrease this to 2 though. |

@bartus:
This script does now work with YousableTubeFix (or it should...) so hopefully that'll fill some of that gap? |
|
|
One more suggestion: If the wild card search does not provide any results script could parse youtube quick list/play list for a next parts. The auto-play feature in youtube is sacked, moreover it wont work witch YousableTubeFix. |

I have awfully weak incoming bandwidth ~1Mbps to low for 3 stream buffering simultaneously (if I properly interpret script variables.)
