i edited mine so it should appeal you now i mean in the look, speed, and efficiancy not in the way it's written
no one actually looks there except for other script wrights and actually no one cares about how it's written unless it is slow, mine isnt slow and that what's important

I'm pretty sure that isn't possible.
See the download box is essentially just a link to the location of the file.

To choose its file name you should right click it and click "Save link as..."
That should produce a box for you where you can choose where on your computer it downloads to - and the filename.

I have the option to choose where all my downloads go to - so I get that dialogue automatically.
If you install downthemall - you could save link with downthemall (for the first time) and choose to save it to where you wanted the videos to go.
And from then on if you right click it and click save with downthemall one click - then they should download straight there.
If the folder its downloading to has a file with the same filename downthemall gives you the option to rename the file youre downloading, to filename_01.lol, _02 etc etc etc - and you can set that as default.

I'm really glad you like it though! =]

Hi there!

I simply love SimpleYoutubeDownloader. There is one feature it's missing to make it absolutely perfect. I'd like to modify it to suit my needs.

Youtube video files by default always have the filename video.mp4. What I would like to do is modify SimpleYoutubeDownloader to grab the title of the youtube video and rename the file to that.

Can it be done?
