That's a Windows error, which means that you've downloaded the .user.js file and clicked it. You can't install the script this way. If you're using Chrome, download the script, open its folder and drag the file to Chrome's extensions page (wrench button > Tools > Extensions). |

script is broken as of 08/14/2012. i think youtube changed their scripts again. every item i try to download just brings you to an error page in the browser. |

Try clearing the cookies for youtube.com. Does it fix the issue? |

I just cleared my Cookies & it's fixed the problem for now. I have "Video Download helper add-on" as a back-up & that wasn't working Y'terday either so i'm thinking YT have been a'tinkering again, but if it works, i'll not post here in this thread again.☮ |
