Theora,

Yeah, someone else reported it not working on a Mac. I don't know why that would be and unfortunately I don't have access to a Mac to check it out.

Sorry.

I am unable to get this script to work. I installed it, restarted my browser just in case, but to no avail. I was thinking that perhaps something went wrong after a Firefox update, but I'm not tech enough to figure out what happened. :-(

I'm running Firefox 3.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.5.5

It works like a charm - thank you so much! I'm a doctoral student, and this script has saved me an enormous amount of time :-)

mkbrandt,

Amazon made a chance to their page format. Should be fixed with the 1.1 version.

Hmmm. I think the recent changes to the SPL site have made the script stop working :-(

Works great with the Ottawa Public Library. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24035

Joseph,

Yes, you can change the libraryUrlPattern and libraryName variables to your local library and assuming they are using the same back end system it will work for you.

Rudi,

That is strange that it wasn't working for you and now it is. Glad it is working for you now and that is cool that you modified it for your local library.

Just thought I would mention I used a copy of your script slightly modified to support our local library (Columbus GA) since they use identical library systems...only minor modifications were needed to the name and search url.

..and then I hit reload one more time and it works...weird.

Installed the script and tried it on the exact book displayed in example...it's no longer working.

Dumb newbie question here: Is it possible for one to modify this for their local library system?

Hi mmmike,

It is working for me on XP with Firefox 2.0.0.8. I don't know why it wouldn't be working on Mac OS X as well.

Hi, I just installed greasemonkey and the linky. Doesn't work, though! I'm on Firefox 2.0.0.8 and Mac OS X 10.4.10. Is the linky still working for other people?
