That 9gag watermark sucks. srsly. They claim to be the origin of the content which they aren't 90% of the time.
Luckily there's fuck9gag.com - except that you need to do the following steps manually:

1. Copy the URL of the 9gagged image
2. Open fuck9gag.com
3. Paste the URL
4. Hit "Go"
5. Right click and view the image only (or save it)

I'm pretty sure this process can be automated, but I don't have the skills to write it myself. So, if anybody could write such a userscript, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one loving it afterwards :)

Also if the image clearing process could be done in the userscript itself (for example using imagemagick in linux), it wouldn't depend on fuck9gag.com at all.
Another Idea: Use a key or add a link or a timeout (like 3 seconds) to open the image only after unfucking it.

Plase make this happen.

I see, the bottom 40 pixels of every image is the URL to where you found the image. Is that really so bad? Don't they deserve any credit?

Anyway, regarding doing it on your system rather than through an online service: if you have ImageMagick or a similar image editing library on your system, you probably could trim the image through a script. How to script it is beyond my expertise, however.
