Like title says, none of my videos default to 1080p anymore, they all go 480p. Yes I've checked the option...

It's in my TODO list... I need to make a wrapper for the player.

GIJoe why do you need too make a new wrapper for the player. Is it really necessary if you where only fixing the auto quality selection function?
I never use any kind of HTML5 layout or player, and try too avoid using such technology if possibly especially on YouTube. When you make the next major update will it be possible for me too choose between playing webM or the regular MP4/flash video formats?
If it wasn't for all this html5 on YouTube I don't think a new wrapper was necessary. But many YouTube users especially linux and Mac people are very pleased by the html5 player. I understand why but in general I don't like or support all this html5 YouTube is trying too implement. They even try too force it's users too play WebM even if they aren't opt-in too the HTML5 video trial. My old PC simply isn't fast enough too play webM on YouTube

As long as Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8 isn't EOL YouTube simply can't abandon flash support.
