The last updated date is changed when the script description is edited (the script itself hasn't changed). This bug confuses users, can any admin fix it? |

This has been happening for a few months, I think. I can't remember the change that caused it, but it might have been related to solving some script uploading problems. Anyway, you're right that users then don't realize that the script itself could be the same version they already have. |

The problem is still present, can any admin answer this please? US.o even sends an email to the users when the description is edited to notify of a new script version. |

Hmmm, I forgot about the favorite script update notification option (Settings). I have not opted in to that. Does it notify every single time you save, e.g., to fix a typo? |

Yes, every time I save an email is sent to the users. |

The correct date and time is still displayed in the "meta" script (e.g., http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/36453.meta.js) so this data exists and the problem shouldn't be hard to fix. |
