Hi,

Randomly, the auto select best quality is no longer working for me.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Not working for me either, either before or after updating the script.

Same for me unfortunately, I'm on Aurora channel and use Greasemonkey 0.9.20
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120524 Firefox/14.0a2

Upgraded 2 days ago to Version 2012.5.20c of the Script and everything was working fine. Today I noticed that the autoselect was broken. Was on Greasemonkey 0.9.20 beta 1 then and it worked. Updated Greasemonkey to 0.9.20 today to check if this would fix it, but it didn't.

Other than applying the Aurora updates I changed nothing if i recall correctly. So either YouTube changed something or the second to last Aurora Update borked it I think.

I have this same problem (or related?) in nightly. It selects 720 max always, even though I told it to select 1080, and if I have cleaning mode on, it only selects up to 480.

Pardon me if I post another script here but since they work together, here's what I do for now so that this is fixed.

I use youtube enhancer in conjunction with Youtube Center http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/114002
Press the gear button top right when using youtube center. Their quality selector works. What I do now is, disable the quality selector in youtube enhancer and used the one in youtube center instead.

I still use youtube enhancer for killing the stream, the stop button and the 'loop certain length' button :)

EDIT: If you're using tampermonkey beta, make sure Youtube Center script is above Youtube Enhancer i.e. Youtube Center is loaded first then Youtube Enhancer.

Today this suddenly works again for me
Version 2012.5.28 of the script

Updated to the "new" Aurora today:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120530 Firefox/14.0a2

Maybe this fixed it or YouTube changed something but I'm glad that it works again
/Edit: Just to add this because BananasGoMoo had this problem: It also selects 1080p if available for me

Working here too. Using the same Opera version.
