Great script! I have find as you type activated in Firefox and that conflicts with the script. The first key press still works but then the search box gets the focus. Google Reader doesn't have this problem but I don't know how they do it. Btw, L would be a better shortcut for "Like", not comment, wouldn't it?

One problem I've noticed: if you scroll down the page and then press J or K, you jump back up to where the cursor left off. It doesn't jump to the next or previous entry displayed on the screen.

Nevertheless, great script for us keyboard lovers. A keyboard shortcut for hide/unhide would be a great feature to add next. Keep up the good work!
