Userscripts.org

Will this ever be coming to userscripts? I could really use a service like this where they can pay the monthly fee to use my script and you could even take a percentage. I would be developing scripts for games and could be used in many other ways also.

That would be a lot of infrastructure to build...maybe it already exists somewhere else.

Well that might be so but not with the kind of traffic this site pulls. I think it would be a great feature to add. Hopefully it will be coming soon.

There's no such thing as closed source userscripts. The most you can do is obfuscate it, but they will still be plainly editable so anyone can just remove whatever restriction you put in there.

The only way I can think of to retain control on the usage of a userscript is handling the logic in your own server, and having the actual userscript sending/receiving information to/from it. It would be much slower though and I doubt many people will be fond of that idea, so just stick to donation buttons.
