However, `offsetWidth` and `offsetHeight` properties (along with `clientWidth`, `clientHeight`, `scrollWidth`, `scrollHeight`) not working in Firefox/Greasemonkey (I don't know why). I use `getComputedStyle` to get element's width and height. It works on both Firefox and Opera. See the diff: pastebin.mozilla.org/?diff=184903. The other problem is if you installed It's All Text! extension, when you changed back `TEXTAREA` to `PRE`, the "Edit" button will still be there, and if you repeat changing it `TEXTAREA` and back to `PRE`, you'll get two "Edit" buttons. There's nothing we can do to remove the "Edit" button since it's a chrome element and Greasemonkey can't access chrome elements.
