I had to modify the opening of links in new tabs though. Before the part where you set:
links[i].setAttribute('target', '_blank');
I check whether the word "google" is in the link. If it is then I don't set the attribute. I did this because it was annoying when I clicked groups, images, videos or even the spelling correction "Did you mean:" and it opened in a new tab.
