script not work in FF3!

baerana User

this seems to have stopped working with Firefox 3 - it appears to work, but I get an error that says "error getting LJ auth token, make sure you are logged in and not banned"

I've got the same problem as brownbetty; since going to FF3 (official release), neither this script nor the cut unfolder works anymore.

brownbetty User

I'm not sure if it's something LJ did recently, or if it's because I'm using the FF 3 beta, but it seems to be broken again. This is definitely my most-used script, so I'm hoping for a fix.

Buran User

Doesn't work anymore; always throws an LJ auth token error.

This is a great script. One change I made, though, was to add the following:

	this.style.border = ''
	this.style.padding = ''

to the beginning of the post_comment() function, right up at the top of the script. That way, after you've posted a comment and the border turned green or red to let you know if the post was successful or failed, clicking on the "Instant Comment" link again will remove the border.

This script is great for the post part but it fails a lot too, particularly on journals which use the 'Expressive' style on LJ.

Updated, fixed bug with posting to journals with dash in the name.

I love this script!

Honestly...My favorite Greasemonkey script! Thanks so much, it's wonderful :^)

this script doesn't seem to be working with firefox 1.5.0.4 and greasemonkey 0.6.4 it seems like it should post but they never appear.

The latest update, which was released today, once more fixes the behaviour of the script. NICE ONE!

Noting too that, like Batshua, the script has stopped working. Using FF 1.5.1 and GM .6.4. Still acts as if it is posting, but no comment appears.

Batshua User

This script doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm using Greasemonkey 0.6.4 and the lastest stable version of Firefox (1.5.0.1). Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Updated. Anyway, you can always grab latest version from my website.

This script makes commenting so much simpler, it really has changed the way I work with livejournal.

Isis FG User

Love this script.

It doesn't seem to work with the Greasemonkey 0.6.2 beta, though. Hope to see an update of the script soon!
