I too updated to Firefox 3.0.3 (both Windows and Linux) and the script no longer works. I checked in the about config and I see that it is enabled (gBccEnabled=true). I have set "gBccPopup=true" and still I see nothing. I tried uninstalling it (and leaving the preferences). Still doesn't work. Then I tried uninstalling it and deleting the preferences and it still doesn't work. Yes, Greasemonkey is enabled and the script is enabled. Anyone have any suggestions? Okay, I see as of 2008-10-03 the script is broken

Hi there: Script never kicked in when sending. Checked about:config and didn't see any prefs for labeled gBcc. I am on Mac Firefox 3.0.3. I am not running any other scripts, but I am running the Better Gmail 2 add-on.... Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks,

@Chipsp1:
It prompts only the first time, it should work silently in the background after that. Anyway, try setting gBccPopup to true in about:config, that way we'll be able to verify if gmailAutoBcc is trying to do anything at all. Also, are you on the default English version of gmail or is there something special about your settings? |

Are you trying to run both versions of gmailAutoBcc? The last one you install will erase the previous one. |

Ok, figured out how to delete within About:Config
Again, any ideas? :)

Ok, this might seem dumb, but how do I delete anything in the about:config? All I seem to be able to do is reset, which does not get the program to prompt me. fyi, I'm also running in firefox in another tab my primary email address via Google Apps which is in the "old" version. Any ideas? |

Seems strange, what other scripts are you running? Its running fine for me and a lot of other people. Also, try deleting all the gBcc* config and see if it prompts again. |

Just plain does not work. I'm on the "new" version, about:config looks good, got the popup first, never works after that.

Works perfectly now. Thanks for the script update. |

Andreas, it kicks in the first time you click 'send' in gmail. |

Doesn't work here. After installation, enabling (and FF restart), it seems to do nothing (no prefs added in about:config). Manually adding the prefs in prefs.js seems to make no difference. Help? -- Firefox 1.5.0.1 (Mac), GM 0.6.4 |

Works perfectly! I had asked Google for this, so nice to see a script for it. I did have some issues. Dont expect it to fill out the BCC section until AFTER you hit the SEND button. I was expecting to see something sooner and thought it wasnt working. Also, I had entered a bad email address to BCC to, and from then on GMail was complaining that the address was bad, and would not send email. To fix, I had to edit prefs.js, and correct the bad BCC address I had entered. Other than that, Im really glad this exists. |
