Oliver Auth, eanklin... thank you for the ideas. I will try to incorporate them into the next release.

Thank you, this is great!! How about adding the ability to convert the listing's end time to the user's local time and/or in 12 hour format (e.g. instead of "Ends 18:25:46 PST", "Ends 9:25:46 PM EST")?

Would be cool, if you could add the timer on the "Review and Confirm" window too.

I have incorporated Joshua's suggestion into eBay Auction Enhancer (the display can be changed on the fly through Greasemonkey user script commands), as well as the ability to start/stop the countdown, and automatic updating (see http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/2296).

I was unable to contact the author with my update, but I fixed the issue with time greater than 24 hours. It's now more flexible. You can find it at http://www.userscripts.org/scripts/show/2263

Nick: There is apparently a bug in Fx 1.5 that breaks GM scripts on e.g. eBay and yahoo.com. Check out "known issues": http://greaseblog.blogspot.com/2005/09/firefox-...

It doesn't seem to work in Firefox 1.5 RC3. It gives a "Component is not available" error in the JS console.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What's the problem???

I really like this one. It's awesome. The only downside is that it doesn't convert hours > 24 into days. I wish this would be updated. If it is, please let me know.
