At least it seems that way from where I'm looking. Using with Chrome and Tampermonkey. Can others confirm whether the script might still be functioning in Firefox? YouTube did a major layout change, but it seems to still favor date of additions over anything else, making the menu even more useless than ever if that's possible.

Added note: I just spotted that the script does continue to work within one's own channel's Video Manager. Of course that's not useful when curating material uploaded by anyone besides oneself.

See the Uploads side tab for http://www.youtube.com/my_videos -- it's possible it's also working elsewhere where the older code is still active. Seems Google changed the code from the Watch page's "Add to" button.

Hi ebbixx, I just noticed the majos change. I guess this is a Easter present from Youtube for us. Nice present, I'll need to hack it again... I'll put an announcement in my script page and remove it as soon as I release a fix. You have to patient a bit, stressed at work for now... I'll check maybe next week. Hopefully till the end of the month I'll find some tome to work on this again, cheers

Thanks for the response, firepol. No expectations here, I appreciate that you're doing this out of a sense of goodwill, so if you can hack it again on whatever schedule fits with the rest of your life, I know it will be appreciated, whenever it comes. I do find myself wondering whether they may not be stepping in the direction of adding other sorting options in time to the code as it stands, but that's merely a guess on my part, and given their past and most recent performance it's probably unreasonably optimistic of me even to think that's a possibility. Amazing how useless so many features are becoming.

They seem to be updating on the fly... good news seems to be they've added their own alfa sort both regular and reverse, plus an option to sort public first, private second. I'm guessing there may be more tweakage coming from them over the next few weeks, so it may be wasted effort to do a lot of revisions until they seem to have hammered on the code to their own heart's desire.

One thing that seems to be an issue with this, though, is that if you have 100 or more playlists, the sorts don't work, similar to what happens if you have 100 or more videos, which also does not allow sorting of one's private video inventory lists. Seems to be a pattern for them, which I've guessed before has something to do with the exponential increase in compute cycles as one sorts a longer list of items, at least under many of the popular sort algorithms?
