REQ: No redirect Google search links

It would be nice to be able to have the direct links rather than the whole Google prefix. Especially useful when you want to "Copy link address" and don't want all that spew... Something like this:

Yes, yes it would. I agree. In the meantime (meaning: I'll take a look at how hard it might be to insert some code for that, but I really need to organize the script, which will be what my next (major) update is about, which will eat up some time) you can try this: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/95092 (it works! I tested it and am quite amazed, though I'm not sure if it rewrites all links or if it currently works on SSL - I'll need to play around with it some more) or the last version of OptimizeGoogle for that; you can get it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/optimizegoogle/ There's an option in OptimizeGoogle under "All Services" to "always remove click tracking"; make sure it's checked before proceeding. There's also an option to "show links to other sites" in Google's results; make sure it's *unchecked* or my script will not work or look right. |
