Thinly veiled spam. Seems to be a misuse of this site.

Damian,
it's strange that charges for code 74 would be any different than, say 75 or 73. Maybe your voip provider charges differently, but that's VERY strange.
I understand what you're saying, but code 74 is just one small region in Russia (Chelyabinsk region) and I don't see why the price for calling it would be lower than any other region, really. I know you probably have enough on your plate right now, but look into it once again when you have time. I'd like to see that odd pricelist myself, but well... =)

Why are you posting messages about your service and website on here??

This service is for scripts NOT to promote your website..

You bump this advertsment every day.. NOT the script just your ad for your website and service that does not work right still.

Yes I tried it but not the script and as you know I was not impressed, and I think your wrong in abusing this site with your advertisments for your own site.

The admin here should remove you.

Click2Voice has been adding capacity, new voip providers, and an additional server recently. almost a 5000% increase in traffic in Oct.

Sorry if some of you had problems...I was not able to access my systems for almost a week due to the San Diego wildfire evacuations.

@Vint - I understand that Russia is code 7 not 74 ...Im not saying that Russia is 74 by listing it as it is. I am saying that I am only paying for you to call 74 which is in Russia. If you want to call somewhere else in Russia you'll have to pay for it yourself dude...cause the other places in Russia are too much for me right now unfortunately...so it's not going to change for now. :(

If you don't like it don't use it...no one is forcing you...I am not some giant corporation that is doing everything politically correct...I provide a free service...if you like it great come again if you don't...well I appreciate your constructive feedback.

vint User

Click2Voice does not work half of the time these days. Just does not dial - period.
By the way, Damian!
Code for Russia is NOT (74)! It's just (7). I have sent you an email about it 2 months ago - no reply, no changes.

If you don't like seeing the script why don't you make your own script that hides it's container in the script list? It's easier to complain I know..

Bob User

He just bumps this script every day to keep it on the first page.... Its good FREE advertising for his service..

The script is nothing really its just so he can SPAM this service and get free advertising for his service.

He should be pulled up for spamming this service by the admin.

Maybe it's not my place to say this, but shouldn't you be using your own site for issues with the plugin and call service? After all this site is for user scripts not commercial scripts, and I feel you are taking advantage of us.o at their costs... unless maybe you make a hefty donation to the site. It may be OK to have the script here, but this isn't your own personal support site.
Anyway, good luck with your endeavor.

"now usable by most of the known world"...
Mmmm, well, if you could go East a bit more, you would find a country that is called Japan... Is it on your map ? lol
Are you planning on supporting that country any time soon ? (That would be really cool since I can't Skype on my ISDN here...)

Thank you both for the feedback. I am finalizing some backend changes this weekend including another call processing server and a mobile version of the dialer to enable mobiles to make free calls anywhere in the allowed areas as well.

When these changes are complete I will be picking up where I left off and your input will be used by the end of next weekend.

Thanks again.

Suggestion for the author:

In order to broaden your audience, you may want to consider modifying this script so it can work natively in Opera (see: UserJS.org). As well as with the IE7Pro addon for IE, which has support for "GreaseMonkey alike script[ing]s" (see: iescripts.org). And finally Maxthon (see: Maxthon Addons). All of these programs are freeware. I'm not affiliated with any of them, but I just thought I would make those suggestions.

Good luck to you and your project,

BTW, I think the script is most useful once one adjusts the excluded and included pages.

varanasi Scriptwright

The service is great and the quality is normally as good as cellphone - in the US to US, anyway.

I like the script - very convenient, especially after doing an export similar to what Webb suggested below. Is there a way to reset the number I am calling from?

Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

I am sorry but it does support Canada. I didn't list Canada since the country code was (1) which is the same as the United States.

Forgive my mistake I updated this page to reflect this.

Tractus User

Ha, it doesn't even support Canada.

Bob User

I have used skype and jajah and its like a normal phone call, your service was basicly unusable.
I use a viop phone in the UK and sound quality is perfect, but yours.... it broke up it crackled I could only make out a few words, it was like using a very bad CB radio in a tunnel.

It may work ok in the states but international its useless... You need to do a lot of work before you can promote your service.

And I know why you bump this post every day.. to try and get people like me to sign up.. well it worked and backfired in the same instance.

Ok its free but as they say you get what you pay for.. and I payed nothing and thats what I got back.. a very bad call.

I only posted here to warn others that the intenational calling does not work as you say in your ad above.

If you fix it and get it working then sure I wil try again but it needs a lot of work as at the moment it just does not work for international.

And the error I had saying I cant place calls to this destination as its to expensive... well as I was reading that the phone did ring and that was the call you said I could not make. The only one using your service. So another thing you need to fix.

damian Script's Author

@Bob Sorry you're having problems dialing to the UK. If you received a message that the call is too expensive you were most likely trying to dial a cellular phone in that country...the international cellular rates can be from 12-20 times the rate of landlines...at this point that kind of a call cost is not feasible for us to support.

This is the first week of international calling and there are many variables involved with quality as you may or may not be aware of. I appreciate the feedback on the quality of your one successful call be it good or bad. I continuously try new providers and test them for their call quality. I will look for more feedback on other calls to the UK and act accordingly.

I am sorry that you do not like seeing this on the front page.

Webb Scriptwright

Thanks, damian, but I got it resolved. Just a little conflict between the script and some custom css.

Bob User

I tried this service as this person keeps bumping this onto the front page... AND it never worked for international

Im in the UK i tried to ring another UK number and i had a message saying sorry but this call is to expensive.

I did manage to get one call out of it and the sound quality was really bad un usable.

Why cant this person stop spamming this service on here......

Every day he bumps this back on to the front page. No one is installing it he just likes to spam this service to us every day.

Dont bother if your not in the US it will not work.

News:
As of now International phone destinations are now available from the web page dialer 100% FREE as well. This has been my focus and monopolizing much of my time over the last few weeks. Implementing this incorrectly could be a huge financial problem for me so time has been taken to prevent issues.

With the addition of FREE International destinations the Click2Voice service is now usable by practically anyone in the world (practically means: the most expensive countries cannot be supported yet).

@Yansky - I do not aim to be "tacky". I aim to make this FREE service that I am providing available to as many people as I can. I do not market this product anywhere else right now...and I do not believe that I am breaking any terms of service, being malicious, or "tacky" in any way by updating the PHURI plugin page manually each time I update or change the code on the back end of the service that the plugin uses.

@Webb - I have not been able to reproduce this issue and the screenshots are not legible for me to visit the same web page to view the html source code. I have been meaning to contact you regarding this but cosmetics are obviously a lower priority in an alpha/beta service when there are other things that need attention...if you would like me to work on this for you please email me with the details of this issue and any information that I will need to reproduce it and I will work on a solution for you my friend.

Webb Scriptwright

I'd be happy if damian made a superficial change that STOPPED THE SCRIPT FROM RESIZING TEXT.

Yansky Scriptwright

Making superficial changes to your script in order to keep it on the front page is pretty tacky mate.
