Script Summary: Prevents YouTube's Character Counter from Becoming Active through the Tab Key

Version: 0.02 (FINAL) - Google finally fixed YouTube's character counter, making this script obsolete. Please uninstall.

When commenting in YouTube, ever tried pressing the tab key, followed by the enter key expecting to post your comment (like you can in other webapps like GMail, Facebook, and Twitter), only to find the character count field highlighted with nothing else happening?

You could press the tab key twice and then press enter every time you comment, but who wants to through all that trouble? :) This script makes YouTube's character counter inaccessible via the tab key, so you need only press tab once, then enter to post the comment you've just typed.

This script has only tested in Safari 5.0.3 with NinjaKit 0.8 on Mac OSX 10.6.6, but it should work with any browser and operating system that enable access to YouTube's "Post" button via the press of the tab key. Questions, feature requests and any other kind of feedback is welcome. :)

Want to make YouTube even more keyboard-friendly? Check out my YouTube access keys script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/97307). If you happen to be using YouTube's HTML5 player (http://www.youtube.com/html5), I also suggest you take a look at DaVince's script, "YouTube HTML5 Player Improvements" (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/95415).
