Script Summary: Autologout/Timed session in Gmail. Currently hardcoded to 5 minutes (300 seconds)
Autologout is a Gmail feature I've desperately needed for a long time. With the proliferation of computers around the home, everyone uses the "living room" laptop to check their email, including our guests.
With the "Timed Session" and Autologout feature, there need be no more worry whether you logged out of Gmail before you left. I originally did a version that timed out after 5 minutes of inactivity, but I prefer this one which is less costly on the CPU and simpler code-wise.
There are a bunch of TODOs here, most of which I'm not planning to address (immediately) because I have it on good authority from my friends at Google that they would release an official Google labs autologout feature. Hopefully that will support a user-configurable timer amongst other things.
